I bought this on a guess at what size my closet is. I guessed correctly. I had to cut about 4 inches from one clothes bar, but other than that.. Great product. excellent space recovery and assosication for the price. Instructions are not that great, but over all assembly is not difficult. May I recommend marking all the places you'll need to drill holes and the form of the unit itself in chalk on the wall before beginning and drilling or assembly. Also Be Sure To Cut From The Ends Of The Shelves If You Need To Cut. The hold bar for the side with the particular shelf is made specifically to be supporting a location that has been cut.
Very impressed with this product. excellent organizational tool.
